VIP Arrival & Departure help makes the airport fast & easy

Information
What information do you need?
It is helpful and (sometimes mandatory) to have the driver’s local mobile number in good time: then we can make sure the handover to or from the driver is coordinated and smooth. For departures, if you will arrive earlier or later than the normal time, you can to let us know and we will get our Airport VIP Services Departure team updated and prepared for when you do reach the airport.

Fast Tracking
Will I always be fast-tracked?
In many airports use special lanes and procedures to reduce the time taken and/or lining up in long queues. Your greeter will use their specialist airport knowledge and local contacts to make passing through the airport border control checks (security and immigration) as fast and easy as possible.

Terminals
Can all airports and terminals be served?
Yes. We can meet and assist you and provide the full range of Airport VIP Services in the International terminals of most African Airports. We also give a airport assistance in most Domestic terminals for help with connections, arrivals or departures.

Surcharges
Is there an overnight surcharge?
In most airports there are no extra time and date surcharges for public holiday, or for late night or early morning meet and assist services. In some places there is a small surcharge for overnight or early morning assistance. We will always tell you whether it applies to your order when you inquire or book.

Connecting
Transit and Connection
Our African Airport Concierge team will meet you at the aerr-bridge, escort you through all necessary visa, health, transit, security, immigration, baggage, and customs procedures needed; and lead you to the next flight’s check in area, or to your airline/member lounge, or to the boarding gate. If a change of terminal is required the greeter may accompany you between terminals, or may connect you with their colleague in the next terminal. If the distance between terminals is great, or if you prefer privacy, we may suggest that you use an “inter-terminal transfer” in a private vehicle.

Border Control
Do I have to pass immigration?
If you are entering or leaving the country, then yes, you need to pass immigration. If you are transferring between two international flights, then it varies. Often a connection can be done within the transit area, but sometimes not. It depends on the airlines, the ticket(s) and the airport. If a low cost “point to point” airline is one of the flights, or if you have two unconnected tickets, then you may have to go “land-side” through immigration to collect bags and check in again. Our expert Airport Concierge rez team will suggest the best solution when you e-mail them with your request
